Community Bus
A 22-seater bus available for hire to ratepayers and residents of the Shire of Tammin. For bookings, please contact the Shire Office.
Library
The Public Library is located within the Shire Office and is open from 9.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday.
Membership is free to all residents. A bond might be charged to temporary residents.
Council also has access to the Library and Information Service of Western Australia (LISWA). As part of this service, members have access to items held in libraries throughout Western Australia.
Simply order the item you wish to borrow and our friendly staff will order it in for you.
Licensing - Department of Transport
The Shire of Tammin is an agent for most Department of Transport licensing services such as all matters relating to vehicles, drivers licenses and plates.
Business hours are Monday – Friday 9.00am – 4.00pm.
Private Works
The Shire’s range of modern plant and equipment operated by trained and experienced staff is available to hire for private works.Current hire rates for graders, loaders, trucks and other plants plus operator are available from the Shire Office. No dry hire of machinery.
Tourist Information
The Shire of Tammin office holds brochures of surrounding tourist attractions.
An information bay is located on Donnan Street (Great Eastern Highway) adjacent to the Tammin Hotel.
